I first discovered ANGELEYE in Molly Burke’s closet for the Streamy’s Awards! I literally teared up because I saw this dress and loved it sooooo much. Here I am a couple months later, very honored to be doing a post with them!
Last week I ordered some sparkly hair pins to give as a gift to one of my friends, but unfortunately, the day they arrived, my mail was stolen! We lost the hair pins, a big (now cashed) check from a client, and who knows what else. PSA: Don’t steal people’s mail!
I finally did the DIY I’ve been dreaming of for the last couple of months — I transformed a boring mini fridge into a retro-style pop of color! I have wanted a little turquoise fridge ever since they started trending a couple of years ago, and our very regular late night snacks (does 3am count as “late night”?) means we actually needed one, right?
Amidst my declutter frenzy the other day, I came across a little pack of elastic (or so I thought) and the idea dawned on me to try to make my own scrunchies! It turns out the pack I had found was just elastic-looking string with no stretch whatsoever, but luckily I found some actual elastic halfway through the project, and hey — glad the non-elastic string still sparked the idea!
It took me a couple of years of trying different editing techniques before I felt like "okay, I'm good at this." I remember even 3 years ago, Nathan had to convince me that Lightroom would save so much time (I was even thinking of editing an entire wedding in Photoshop -- what?!) and now I can't believe I even questioned him. I was just intimidated to learn a new program, though, to be honest. I've never been the best about getting ahead of the game on new software and technology etc.
